Bulova Baron Mantel Tabletop Clock Review

Nice watch. Just be careful where you are going to place the clock. Difficult to read from a distance in dim light, with silver hands on a silver numeral background. I would only recommend the watch for short distances within five feet.

I bought this watch to replace an identical looking model over 20 years ago. The difference is that the old clocks consisted of a solid metal frame and base. Very healthy and beautiful. This newer model has the same quality of looks but not as solid construction. But it performs just as well as its predecessor.

I bought six of these watches for anniversary gifts to co-workers. I wanted a beautiful watch that really works. They look lovely, look exactly as described and I love that they are made under a name I trust. I'll engrave them on top and give them away at the end of the year. Purchased in advance to ensure I get the six hours I like.

The clock does not show the time. I tried to return it and got a man who spoke very little English. After trying to set up a return for too long I ran out of time and had to leave. Some time later I received an email which was also difficult to understand. Bottom line, I wouldn't take this watch if it was free. It doesn't move with the times and I've lost my money.

I've had this watch for less than six months. Twice the time was more than 30 minutes behind. I've put new batteries in twice and it still doesn't show the correct time. Too bad because it's a nice watch. In addition, the silver hands make it difficult to read the time. I'm working on a replacement because Revain said it has a 3 year warranty.

I agree with many of the reviews praising the attractiveness of the watch. I've changed the battery 3 times in a few weeks and it never fails. He'll make it in a day or so, but will gradually lose time and lose as much as 30 minutes or more. I respected the Bulova brand but in this case they failed. I will try to solve this problem, so we will see if there is a solution for this.

My watch arrived today. Although this is a very nice watch aesthetically, it does have some visible flaws. The biggest thing is that the front glass (or that plexiglass) is cut out wrong and the bottom part doesn't fit properly, so a gap of 1-2mm is visible. The top cover shows a fingerprint that was probably made when applying the glue. The glue is also visible clockwise. Because the background is black, some particles and dust are visible. Considering this is a Bulova I would have expected…
