Simple tools for weaning a baby!

They're so cool, our girl has gotten so confident that she's feeding herself with them! We mold her in advance and put it in her hands, she quickly grasped the skill. They wash out easily during the day, and every night we throw them in the dishwasher for a good sterilization. I love this dish!

Pretty great.: Feeding

My 9 month old can hold them with no problem. Because they are made of silicone, the fork isn't great for picking things up, but I'm not worried about hurting my gums with a hard fork. When I ate the noodles I was worried that the pink color would turn, but as soon as I washed them all the orange-red noodle stains were gone. All in all they are pretty good.

Cute but not particularly functional

This cookware is cute and theoretically great but the fork is too thick/weak to actually pierce anything properly (tried to put strawberries, bananas etc on the fork right in my hand laying babies). It's good for kids to get used to cutlery, but it doesn't really work for eating it. My daughter seems to enjoy using it as a teething toy.

Pros
  • Cookware
Cons
  • Expensive

Comfortable grip and dummy screen prevent choking.

Perfect for little hands and the pacifier-like shield prevents baby from gagging when biting these things. I dip it in baby food when I feed my baby so the baby can eat on its own between mom's meals. Sometimes the child does not want to eat, I pass the spoon in my hand, but lo and behold, the same food on the child's spoon is much tastier, since he can eat himself.

  • Baby Products

  • Wrinkled

Great for BLW in fast feeding mode

I bought these for my 6 month old daughter who is just starting BLW. I have seen some others but they are not silicone. I find silicone safer for babies who are just learning to eat and mostly use it as a teething toy. The dishes are small and fit perfectly in children's hands. They are easy to hold. I was surprised how easily my daughter put the spoon to her mouth and fully understood what was happening. She loves this dish very much. I will definitely keep them for many years. when she…
