This stuff STINKS! on my review.

I am so disappointed in this product. Took it out of the bag and hung it on the line to drench with water and dry in the hot sun. Then after the stink did not come out, washed it and let it sit in a rinse with vinegar. Spin and line dry and it still STINKS. Washing it again. Will let it soak overnight with more vinegar but I am not getting my hopes up. The manufacturer uses some kind of petrochemical soup in its creation. Do not buy this if you will be using it indoors. I was going to use it to

Pros
  • I used the burlap to cover a section of my pergola for shade. It worked very well.
Cons
  • The edges of the fabric are unfinished and tend to fray easily, which can make it difficult to work with and may require extra time and effort to hem or finish

The weave of the fabric

I use the fabric when I upholster furniture. What I like is that the fabric because it does not stretch due to the tight weave.

Pros
  • It shed a lot when I first bought it, but it stopped very shortly after I bought it. It was easy to dye.
Cons
  • The fabric sheds a lot of fibers, which can be frustrating to clean up and can be irritating to those with allergies or respiratory sensitivities
