We bought it over a year ago. It still works fine. It didn't cause us any problems. The horn was set to 'quack-quak' when we got ours. The Q&A forum members have been very helpful in helping people learn how to change the siren sound. You can put anything under your pillow and scroll through the horn sounds to choose the one you like. The horn is loud enough. My bike stays in the garage so it only charges when I ride it unless I have the foresight to take it off and charge it when I know I'm about to ride.
