Inexpensive and very practical

This harness looks ridiculously simple but is far more comfortable and practical than a standard collar. With Canon's relatively heavy stabilized binoculars, I use a carrying strap that not only holds my body more securely, but also completely relieves my neck. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Ready to use
Cons
  • Upgradable

Simple, easy and effective.

As others have pointed out here, it looks impractical, but it isn't. Does its job well, easy to set up, works great. It might be a little pricey for what it is, but the components seem well made and should last forever. A worthy accessory if you're going to be walking around with binoculars for any length of time.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Disappear

Beautiful binoculars!

I bought these organic harnesses to replace my oldest organic harness which has served in the SWFL (redheads) hunting heat for many years. But this time I wanted to try something lighter and less bulky and so far they have been perfect for all occasions. I recommend them to anyone who wants something lighter and less bulky, this is your biosecurity system.

  • An Absolute Legend

Light and efficient

The binoculars do not wobble when walking and are always at hand. This makes my 10x50 feel very light, especially when moving, as the thin cord acts like a bungee and flexes slightly as you walk. It is also easy to pack the binoculars for storage without making them bulky. Beautiful minimalist concept and execution. I would buy another pair of binoculars again.

Pros
  • Excellent workmanship
Cons
  • Can hurt

Light weight for my minimalism

I chose this ultra light binocular harness because I do a lot of hiking and traveling the world and in recent years I have become more and more interested in bird watching. I like to pack light weights for day trips and field trips and this seemed to suit my style and is sturdy enough but adjustable enough to fit my binoculars. Haven't used it on the track yet but looking forward to seeing how it performs.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • A few bits and pieces

Best used with compact binoculars.

I use a binocular strap almost 100% of the time I wear binoculars. Pros: + This new harness is much lighter and rolls better. + Straps do not twist behind the back. when you put them on. + You can wear binoculars around your neck when you go somewhere you want to take it off faster. Best backpack. I adjust mine to sit very high on my back to avoid discomfort. They don't distribute the weight too much so you can feel the rope when carrying something heavier than 8x42 binoculars.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Minor issues

It's a great product that works

Comfortable, adjustable, efficient, with multiple carrying positions and the tether strap fits easily into the binocular carrying case. It could be a DIY project, but I suspect there isn't much savings below the $20 price point. For my new Bushnell H2O 8x42 binoculars, I modified the wiring harness by cutting the plastic plug that ties the two ends of the cable together, sliding the cable out of the clip that holds the cables together on the back, and threading the cable through the Having…

Pros
  • There's something special
Cons
  • Frequency
