I don't recommend you buy it used because you never know what you're getting (learned the hard way). This was my second purchase and it worked flawlessly until the lens became blurry and the readings became dim. Not sure what caused it. I tried changing the battery but it didn't help. I have contacted Bushnell several times, but each time I was more than 30 minutes late and could not get support. I tried the call back feature but they never contacted me. So there is only one option - back.

I've only been using it for a few months and there are small black dots in the viewfinder. Looks like spots on the focusing lens, but that's a guess. I spoke to several other people with the exact same range finder and they had this problem as well. I would say my rangefinder has been exposed to some moisture but has not been exposed to rain or submerged in water. I know that from others I've talked to. Although it's expensive, it's a BEAST! Once you line up your aim and press the button, you have a yard! I mean. LESS THAN A SECOND! I had an older version (about 4 years old) and never responded so quickly! The magnet on the side hasn't let me down either, especially on some of the more bumpy kart tracks and bumps on fairways/roughs. It never fell off (and I've already played about 25 rounds with it)!
