Description of Bussmann AMG 300 High Current Stud Mount

AMG Stud Mount Fuse - 300 Amp, 32 Volt DC Rating. Designed for high current applications that require a robust, fast-acting fuse. For select late model vehicles as well as custom applications using a Bussmann HMEG fuse block (not included). Bolt down design features rugged tin plated copper terminals and color-coded amperage ratings. RoHS compliant construction; sold individually.

Disappointing Electrical Mount

As a result of using this product, I found that the mounting hardware wasn`t secure enough to hold the high current electrical connections in place .The stud mount is flimsy and doesn't provide a sturdy connection point, which ultimately leads to poor performance. The only pro is that it's easy to install but the cons outweigh any benefits. Overall, I do not recommend this electrical mount..

Bought as a spare

I recently upgraded my fifth wheel charging system with a 5500 Onan alternator and four 6 volt batteries. This fuse was installed as the main fuse and I just wanted a spare in case one blew.
