Bussmann MAX40 Automotive Maxi Fuse Review

The industrial and scientific circuit protection couldn't get any worse with this fuse. It failed to protect the circuit board in our factory, resulting in thousands of dollars worth of damage. The only pro is that it was easy to install, but given its lack of effectiveness, that's hardly a selling point. Save yourself the headache and find a better alternative.

Unlike my wife, this is not a short fuse. To be honest, this isn't your typical smaller car fuse. Bought for my Audi. Make sure you know the backup size you need. This is a maximum backup.

My husband told me to order a 40 watt fuse for our bus aka 45 foot bus so I bought it along with the standard 40 watt Bussmann fuses.. .thank god I did! These are HUGE fuses, not a standard size, so don't take the word "Maxi" lightly! See my picture for reference. We had to replace the blown old fuse on the right side so it wasn't the one we needed. In comparison, it's gigantic.
