Yes, it's very, very loud. but it does the job. The first one we bought wasn't as promised. sent it back with no problems. Spent a few bucks more and this one works every time. We have a manual standby just in case, but so far so good! (2 weeks. I play every other day for several hours)

He shuffles cards well. We've only used it with one deck, but it can work with multiple decks if desired. It makes noise when it's running, which annoys me. It's made out of fairly flimsy plastic, but at this price point I didn't expect more. It does the job, but my quest for the best shuffler continues.

Not what I expected and a complete waste of $. You need to hold the plastic tab on the front to turn it on and slide the cards toward the center. All you need is to draw about 7 or 8 cards of each size at a time. Yes I think it mixes but not worth the price paid and especially not worth the 5 stars. even if they pay me $5 in the form of a Revain gift card. Not sure if this will be published.

He's shuffling cards - although you have to be careful about "tapping" them and having an almost even number of cards on either side or you could get stuck stay or break. Even if that doesn't happen often. It's VERY noisy - which I think is inevitable with a mechanism like this. I gave it four stars because it does what it's supposed to and it's cheap, but it would be great if they could turn it down a bit.
