If you're going to get invisible aligners, you need them!

Currently wears aligners; These are rigid plastic covers that mold to correct the bite. Inevitably there are sharp edges or corners that rub against your cheeks or tongue. Simply tear off a piece of this wax, roll it in your fingers to heat it until it becomes flexible, then press onto the area that isn't rubbing properly. Instant relief!

Pros
  • Fits many people
Cons
  • Some difficulty

Oral care MUCH HIGHER PRICE

Yes it was the right product and yes it works well BUT the twin pack (compared to what is on sale here) is only $1.79 at my local grocery store and this seller is charging >$5.00 for just ONE pack same product, same size. Feeling a little used now.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

Excellent protection for the teeth

Bought this pack for a tooth that was affected by a growing wisdom tooth. Heal the tongue and protect it from the tooth! Of course it worked great.

Pros
  • I hold my fists
Cons
  • Weak set

Disappointed good for oral care

Not satisfied with purchase. Wax breaks down so easily and doesn't even get through the day. Simple things worked better so I'm not sure if it's this brand or if it has mint. Which, I should mention, also has absolutely no mint flavor. I will not buy again

Pros
  • Useful not only for its intended purpose
Cons
  • There are cons

Not the worst I guess?

I think it works just as well as any orthodontic wax so it doesn't work as well. I suggest using this wax in strips. Remove and level, then place the entire strip on the protruding bracket. If you try to stretch the wax, roll it into balls, or manipulate it to do anything, it will break into pieces. Warming hands doesn't help. This wax goes as a last resort, but it's far from ideal.

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • something different

Tastes like cucumber. rev.

The taste is not like mint. General. The best way I can describe the taste is like pickles. cucumbers with dill. It's the weirdest thing, but it smells and tastes like dill pickle. I'll use it because I don't want to waste it, but I won't buy it again. Pooh.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • High price

Works great with permanent wire retainers

This is the best option for permanent retainers or I'll get a horrible ulcer on my tongue. I use this on my permanent fixative so it doesn't irritate my tongue. I tried to get used to the fixative and the doctor said my tongue would get used to it but it never happened after so many years I was so tired of being someone who always had a tongue ulcer, i bought this wax and it is the best i can keep sores away. I've tried everything else. It's just a beautiful wax that can be heated with your…

Hooray. Relief! at Orthodontic Supplies

My braces have been gone since 2004 but I have a permanent retainer/wire on the bottom. It stayed in place all these years until it came loose 2 months ago and my dentist replaced it. I'm sitting at home with a bacterial respiratory infection and last night my wire came loose on one side and stuck my tongue in. What to do? I remembered GUM brand wax but it wasn't there. I called the local shops, of course nobody had it. Revain to the rescue, not only did they have it, but for a few bucks it…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No automatic

Worked very well for me

Bulter Dental Wax has worked well for me. A broken tooth from an unpopped popcorn seed in purple corn. Then the crown fell off leaving a very sharp, pointy edge that stung, clawed and bruised my tongue. Wasn't able to book a dentist appointment for three weeks and that was shortly after I protested the appointment originally offered in late August. Luckily I had a root canal so it didn't really hurt, other than my tongue catching on a sharp edge. The tooth wax came in two packs so it lasted…

Pros
  • Very good value
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
