Great shoes! - my new rating

Great shoes! My niece is 9 years old and wears a size 1, they fit well. They are specially made SMALL. The toes should reach the end of the shoe but not curl under it. Keep in mind that they are not suitable for walking or any activity other than climbing.

Pros
  • The shoe has an integrated padded tongue that increases comfort and reduces pressure points when climbing.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for children who are just beginning to climb.

I would recommend going at least 2 sizes up on this shoe.

With these shoes, size matters a lot. We buy sneakers and sneakers 2 sizes youth. I would recommend going at least 2 sizes up on this shoe.

Pros
  • They worked so well I have a pair for my 3 and 6 year olds.
Cons
  • Knitted material cannot stand up to rough usage and wear out well.

Complaints that sizing overshadows great shoes

These are great shoes. A lot of people complain about the size and I think that's because it has scales for toddlers and children. My 4 year old daughter has very small feet and wears a size 11 (the smallest size on the toddler scale). Even if they aren't, the reviews criticizing the size chart don't reflect the quality of the shoe. I highly recommend if you can try the shoes on before you buy.

Pros
  • I bought for my daughter, she said comfortably! I like materials that suit me.
Cons
  • Limited color options may not appeal to all children.

ORDER at least 2 sizes

The shoes are very soft and seem very comfortable. BUT they are SUPER small, so order now! My daughter is 11 and I ordered 13. WAY too small. I am sending it back and have ordered 3 and 4. We'll see which ones fit, and then we can add more to the review.

Pros
  • Light and comfortable to wear, offers maximum freedom of movement of the foot.
Cons
  • May not be as durable as other climbing shoes.

Very small, size larger

My 6 year old daughter wears normal size 13 shoes and I ordered a size 2 in this climbing shoe. They fit perfectly and she loves them. The rubber is great, super sticky, sturdy sole. She can wear them for over an hour.

Pros
  • The sizes did not fit, glue was visible on some seams. Arrested for indoor climbing
Cons
  • You are very small

Soft and comfortable children's climbing shoe without leather!

I wanted to write a review because I read other reviews before ordering as they made me wonder how they would compare to other climbing shoes. I was afraid they might be smaller. If you're not familiar with climbing shoes, they fit MUCH less than traditional shoes. But compared to other climbing shoes, they are very similar in size. My son wears a size 1/1.5 outdoor shoe and a size 4 climbing shoe (could probably fit in a size 3 climbing shoe, but he likes it more relaxed). I ordered a size 5…

Pros
  • The Butyl Butora F5's sticky and durable rubber outsole provides excellent traction and grip, ensuring confidence when climbing.
Cons
  • May be too tight or too loose for some kids

Sizing is off but looks like a quality product

My 6.5 year old son wears a size 1.5-2 shoes. I measured his foot last night and from heel to toe his foot is pretty much 8 inches long. We ordered a size 2 of this climbing shoe and thought it had some room in the toes, although not too much. We're a size 2 and wow we can't even fit my son's foot in this shoe, he's WAY small. We returned a size 2 and ordered a size 5. We received this item last night. My son was able to put his foot in it, but even without socks, his toe touches the toe of the

Pros
  • Nice pair of shoes but had to go back as the size was slightly smaller than his usual sneaker size.
Cons
  • This edition is very small, I was disappointed as they only fit size 5 and I will be returning them.
