The bench was light in weight letting me know it wouldn’t be very sturdy. But it’s not for company to sit on - just myself. Took 5 mins to remove from the box, 3 mins to install the washers and to screw in legs to the bench. The fabric is slightly stiff and the color is a a deep navy blue. The top of the seat has a diamond tuck design without buttons. The nail heads are shiny and appear to be a silvery brass color. Delivery was 2 days after ordering online. Nice and sturdy ottoman. As others have noted, it's not a true dark grey; depending on the lighting it can look anywhere from brown to charcoal. Not too terrible as my couch that it is in front of is light tan and my carpet is brown, so it's really not an issue. I use it to store a large amount of game controllers out of sight. We took the ottoman out of the box and opened the lid up. Immediately, the hinge broke off from the bottom portion of the ottoman. We realized the hinge did not have motion and broke off from the wood. It actually split the wood under the fabric, where it was attached. Be careful opening this to check the hinges first! We are left with just one hinge and have no other spot to attach a new hinge on the broken side. Other than that, we love the look of it, and it is sturdy.

Came assembled! It’s very sturdy. I weigh 200 pounds and stand on it frequently to reach up high and there’s no issues. A comfy little seat with great storage. This picture does NOT do the color justice. It’s a gorgeous green color!

Nice furniture piece. Fits perfectly at the foot of our queen size bed. The only problem we are having is the stitching is starting to come loose. We use this to sit on occasionally, not abuse it.

I think for this price the bottom should have been more thicker it’s a thin board can’t put anything heavy in it so only good for blankets and some clothes posting this on 3/10/2022

It’s a bit smaller than I was expecting. It’s a little too small for the area I bought it for. But it easily works in our bedroom instead.

It is not the dark blue shown on the site, but it is pretty. Two of the holes for the legs are stripped, so I will have to return this.

I like everything about this storage ottoman that is used to store small to medium sized toys. I love the fact that a toddler can open and close it without worrying about hands or fingers getting slammed or smashed because the lid stays in place at every level it is opened. It's a winner!

This product has no smell for me despite the other reviews. The top isn’t fully one color gray (as shown in the pictures) but it is some sort of velvet material so I probably have to push it all in one way for it to be the same throughout.
