6 feet 3 inches and 170 pounds. Finally something fits!

My usual search for long sleeve shirts that fit me invariably ends up choosing XXXXXL shirts which look like potato sacks on people of the right proportions. Luckily, Buttoned Down recognizes that there is a market for tall people who are actually a healthy weight, and "tall" doesn't mean 300 pounds and obese! The quality is excellent, the fit perfect. This will be my favorite brand from now on.

Pros
  • Supima cotton is a luxury fiber grown in the United States with extra long staple fibers that create softer, smoother, stronger and shinier fabrics. Wear and tear over the life of the garment
Cons
  • price, rip off the piggy bank

Superb clothing quality

My son wore this shirt as part of his homecoming dance costume. It fit perfectly, the material was of excellent quality and despite having a pocket it was barely visible on a black shirt.

Pros
  • Tailored fit with a cropped waist, bust and sleeves while the shoulders and armholes are slightly relaxed. Tailored Fit similar to Modern Fit
Cons
  • Rosette required

Packaging and shirt damaged in transit

Lovely poplin shirt but cannot be worn as the shirt was cut through the damaged outer packaging so it was returned. Update 7/8/21: The replacement shirt arrived without Revain packaging, just thin plastic from the manufacturer with Revain tags attached. The shirt was not damaged this time and is made of comfortable fabric.

Pros
  • Machine washable
Cons
  • The list goes on.

It crumples and folds like a circus tent.

I bought this shirt because it said it couldn't be ironed. The material is translucent and creases very easily. In terms of custom fit, the shirt fits like a baggy Seinfeld shirt with a ton of extra fabric all around, including the collar! What a waste of money.

Pros
  • 97% Supima cotton, 3% elastane
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Quality men's shirt

Very nice shirt. I was surprised at how thin the material is, but as another reviewer mentioned, a bonus in the summer months. You definitely need to wear a shirt. The extra room in the shoulders and arms seems ideal.

Pros
  • Coquette with gussets on the back
Cons
  • Vulgarity

The clothes don't impress

Let's start with the honest part, the quality of the cotton is very good but other than that it has a low number of seams, so that it doesn't last long after many washes, the armholes in the fitted version are so huge you'll have wings like a flying squirrel. The overall fit is great which is fine for a shirt on the outside but not for a shirt tucked into a fitted shirt to be worn with a suit and tie, it's so big it looks pretty silly. I was looking for quality shirts and this is not among the…

Pros
  • Available in 72 sizes for a better fit including Big & Tall
Cons
  • Something's wrong
