Durable elastic band.

Just right for my application. It seems to be of decent quality for heavy use. I use these on my ATV trailer since it has removable body sides. They prevent the rear end from popping out of the pockets caused by our lazy pa roads.

Pros
  • Includes mounting brackets and pin
Cons
  • Not sure

I asked what MacGyver would use for this task.

"Baja Bug Hood Retention Pads” came to mind for an unusual project. I used it as a fixative for my propane regulator on an RV project. Offers a quick release so I can slip out of my tank.

Pros
  • Single Pack
Cons
  • Functionality

WJ206 truck and trailer with stainless steel brackets.

I used a truck and trailer hood latch on my aluminum trailer to keep the side bars from rattling on the body. I was suggested to use stainless steel latches so I don't have rust problems. They were easy to install and worked great for me.

Pros
  • Includes mounting brackets and pin
Cons
  • Extendable
