WARNING! We had a small heavy duty truck (to carry things back and forth from our house to the beach) that was locked to the outside with this cord and someone cut it. Clean cut straight through the cable. It's definitely not as strong as advertised. Really disappointed, now we have about $100 between cable and cart.

I bought this to attach my expensive portable solar panels to my RV when it's in storage. Reasonable diameter to work with my padlock. It is well protected from the elements. This will deter the casual thief from stealing my solar panels, but probably not the serious thief who might have an electric grinder that can go through just about anything.

Excellent durable cable. I wasn't sure how thick the cable was as the measurements may have included a plastic sheath. This is a strong, durable cable. Won't break without tools. It can be cut with cordless tools or large bolt cutters. So don't trust him completely. If someone wants to steal something strong, they can come up with a way. But you don't have to worry about crime.

This is a beauty. The one I received was flawless. Very flexible braided cable. Like all safety devices, it can be bypassed, but you'll need a good pair of wire cutters to cut this cable.
