My hamster was sleeping at the wheel and not using a blanket and I was concerned. I put him in his cage and he ignored it. Then I swapped his wheel for a house and put his wheel on the other end of the tank. Now he sleeps safe and sound. Simba starts bringing linens into the house. Good value for money. Simba is 3 months old and fits great. As he gets fatter I think he's still in shape, but he's NOT TIGHT.

It arrived today and it's already a hit with the dwarf hamster. The front folds down when not in use for easy storage. Some of the holes were a bit rough so I sanded them down a bit and everything is perfect. However, the roof appears to be plastic rather than wood, but overall the house is pleasant. I wish there was a smaller house that I could connect houses to with a toilet paper holder. Another reviewer mentioned this but I couldn't find another home.

Our gerbils love this house. I only wish I could see her curled up and cozy inside. As you can see from the picture it is hidden in the bedding but they have tunnels leading to all the peep holes on the upper and lower floors. The hinged bottom shelf feels flimsy on a hard surface but is more durable in bed. Seems to wash off easily. They love to stick their heads in and out through all the windows and take pleasure in stuffing and stuffing and stuffing them with bedding.

We just gave our kids a pair of gerbils. Of all the accessories we've bought, this is by far our favorite (and gerbils). You get on, off, around and through. and even on the roof. It's well made, durable, and pretty cute.
