This is for a slim 14 year old girl. They were about 4 inches above his knees and tight against his butt. Order a size up and make sure your child likes the shorter shorts. He didn't like the peace sign on his back pocket either.

Nice pants but the Peace logo on the back pocket

The shorts were ok but my son didn't like the huge Peace logo on the back at all - he refused to wear it. I think if this logo was smaller and just embroidered in a neutral color it would work better.
