C2G 01927 Modular Straight Through Coupler Review

This is so cool! I had several rooms in the house with only one Category 5 network cable. In one case I need to connect 2 devices with one cable - plug them in (one on each end) and 2 cables to the switch and it works great. On another occasion I use 2 on each side to go from the internet to the firewall in my office and then back to the internet switch. Running a second CAT cable through the wall, around the chimney etc etc saved me hours of work because I had to connect two electronic devices to it two router outputs to another room. UPDATE (05/06/15): The TP-LINK TL-SF1005D 5-Port 10/100Mbps Desktop Switch might be a better choice. It costs $7.40. UPDATE (11/19/2013): I'm still giving it 5 stars, but changing my recommendation from "Highly Recommended" to "ONLY buy it if you really need it". Reason: Switches are now so much cheaper that you no longer have to buy this product at this price.
