What can I say? It's a cable!

Not really a DB25 cable worth mentioning. What I can say is that it works flawlessly with my new desktop CNC machine and I couldn't ask for better at this price point.

Pros
  • Extend RS-232 serial or parallel cable
Cons
  • Not sure

Suitable for hardlocks

We have software that uses a parallel hardlock. Parallel cards are located on the back of all computers and we only have a limited number of hardware locks. To save myself or others from having to look behind their systems to see if they have HLs they don't use, I bought them so I could see them either on a table or taped to a wall. Makes life easier and prevents non-technical people from moving computers to check if HL is present.

Pros
  • electronics
Cons
  • unreliable
