terrible shielding - prone to noise

I needed a 3m cable to replace c2g's 25ft audio cable. unfortunately there are no analog sonic wave rca cables anymore. This is the worst audio cable I have ever bought. c2g did it better a few years ago. This cable picks up noise when other non-audio devices are turned off and on again. The noise is best described as a clicking or popping sound. Replacing this cable with an older "better" c2g SONIC WAVE cable eliminated the noise.

  • Great for me

  • Not all good

what I need for cables and connections

I needed to hook up a DVD player and Wii to our TV. There's only one spot in the component part of the TV where I can get the video stream to work, so I had to keep turning the TV to change inputs. This solved the problem for me (thankfully I got tired of digging into the back of the TV). I'm running the Wii through an external speaker set, so sound isn't important - all I needed was two video inputs and it worked.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Functionality

The red connector was a problem

It works and of course it's cheap, but I had to drill through the middle of the female end of the red side of the cable because it wasn't deep enough to accommodate the RCA input from my turntable. If I hadn't carefully removed the excess material from inside the connector, I would definitely have to return it. This is probably one of a thousand or more problems, but it annoyed me that I had to spend time drilling the connector so I could use it.

The buffer around the harbor is a nice touch

They added some sort of buffer to keep the cables from dangling. This is a must as I just got my first proper entertainment center and the vinyl tower will be delivered to me tomorrow. I am planning to put my turntable on a tower and need extra cable length as the standard cable inside the turntable is too short. It got the job done at a fantastic price. In any case, no one should inflate the price of analog cable. Save some time and buy them when you need them too.

  • Absolutely amazing!

Unshielded: AV Accessory

Bought at length. I received completely different cables than in the picture. Jackets are different. They're not even white or red. Yes I understand they are being offered very cheaply but at least sell me what you are selling. At one end of each cable, the jackets are too loose in the connectors and they fall out. The only way to get audio through them is if they are shot in place very purposefully. These cables are also not shielded as advertised, it's a lie to sell freebies like they're…

DO NOT BUY A PRODUCT FROM THIS COMPANY

IMPORTANT IMAGE - to save 0.0002 cents plastic pins with steel bushings were used instead of solid steel pins. When I tried to take the cables from one amp to connect to another amp, the plastic pin slipped out of the metal grommet, leaving it still in my amp's inputs. Now I have to take my amp to an audio repair shop for a minimal fee of $50 to get the jacks off my amp or the $1200 amp is useless. Note to seller: NO, I DO NOT WANT A FREE REPLACEMENT

Eh Does its job but not perfectly

Bought to bypass the crossover which I thought could be defective in my radio. I was surprised at how loose the metal handles were. They just effortlessly fell off the RCA connectors. I had to bend them a bit to get them in place. After that, the sound was just as good as the more expensive RCA cables I've used. Not sure why the metal could be so loose considering all RCA connectors are standard. The quality could be better but in the end after a little tweak it works as intended and it's not…

Disappointed Good for AV accessories

When I received the cables they matched others I had looked at. Then I found that the wings holding the receiver flex fairly easily, but not to the point where it's unacceptable. After putting the plugs into the jacks, I had to remove them again to place the tuner elsewhere. That's when I discovered that one of the male inserts was white, not silver like the others. Upon closer inspection, I found that the metal shell covering the stylus was still in the socket. I managed to remove the broken…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Not sure

I bought these cables to connect parts of my audio gear without having to reach for the back of my preamp. I can just leave these cables in the preamp and easily connect any audio equipment I replace. I also recommend this product for use if you have an Audiotechnica LP-120 turntable. The audio cables of this particular player are neither long nor detachable. This solves these problems, allowing you to place your turntable much farther from your receiver/amplifier/preamp than before. They also…
