Might be an overkill, but works great

This cable *might* be overkill, but I had to run 25 feet of phone cable to get my DSL modem where I wanted and didn't want to. I took a chance with a cheap cable so I bought this one. It's about the thickness of an Ethernet cable, but has RJ11 connectors (standard telephone) on the ends. You can also use this cable for a landline phone, but it will almost certainly be overkill. This cable didn't speed up my DSL connection (I don't have stellar speeds), but it made the connection to my modem…

Works great for an AT&T U-verse 50 feet from Jack's wall!

I purchased this cable to mount my AT&T U-Verse DSL Router 50 remotely from a wall outlet. And it worked great! In fact, my speed is slightly faster than when using the original and shorter green cable that came with the router. The reason I needed this cable was because I wanted to install the router in the middle of my house and mount it on the ceiling. However, my wall outlet was 50 feet away from me. At first I tried to buy a regular 50ft phone cord but it didn't work because even though I…

Rubbish! I bought this because I was looking for a reliable "buy for life" cable. I didn't know much about phone cords, but I learned quite a bit about RJ11 cords, crimping and wiring thanks to this horrible cord that gave me a lot of trouble. Long story short, these cables are made with very poor quality control and I had to disassemble and reassemble mine to get it working. I doubled the cost of this cable to have it repaired because it would take me 4 hours of sweaty, nasty work to remove…

Totally satisfied with this RJ11 cable.

This RJ11 cord replaces a cord that has been in use since circa 1986. Thought it was time for an update! The cable I replaced was unshielded so all sorts of noise got into the line. Since using DSL I've noticed a nice speed boost (nothing major, another 100kbps on download) which I can only attribute to a reduction in the noise on my line! Aside from the extra performance of this cable, they also look very cool. The cable's outer insulating material is transparent, so you can see the shield and
