My 8 year old loves these shorts. They have an extra zip pocket that he loves. They are a little longer and a little larger than expected which is great as I was worried they would run small like other size 8/10 brands. My son is a bit tall and average skinny for his age. These shorts are gray and very soft and comfortable. They are made of 90/10 polyester/spandex and are breathable without noise. They are well tolerated at school and at home. My son is quite picky about clothes like most kids and they seem to be holding up well. There are no problems with the fabric.
