Description of 🔌 Enhanced Cable Bushings Replacement for 2013-2018 Ford Focus ST and RS Variable Speed Cable Bushings (2 Pairs)

▶Material: High-quality precision machined aluminum with black anodized coating will never degrade. ▶Feasible and reliable design: Replace the rubber bushes on the two transmission cables and fix them on the gear lever of the gearbox, which greatly improves the direct feeling. Enjoy a more precise shifting experience. ▶flexibility: It eliminates the direct feeling of manual transmission that we all like. These sturdy cable ends give you a solid feeling. ▶Fit: Ford FOCUS ST&RS 2013-present 6-speed manual transmission. Short-range speed change plate suitable for aftermarket. ▶Easy to install: When clamping the green socket part and the parts together, clamp it between the two aluminum parts, put some blue Loctite on the thread, and tighten it with a 5/16" Allen key and crescent wrench. Make it snug and re-clamp the end of the cable to the gearbox arm.

worth your money!

Very high quality and well made! Removing the old bushings is the only tricky part of the install, but this is definitely a great upgrade. There is no reason to pay more for these other brands.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • There are nuances

Does not fit 2016 Focus

Well made item but did not fit my 2016 Focus. The sockets were too big. I had to use a dremel to shave them off just enough to make them fit. Once I got them to work, they greatly improved the feel of shifting. Would have given 5 stars if they had been direct with no change

Pros
  • Pleasing
Cons
  • Speed

Doesn't fit 2016 Ford Focus ST

Doesn't fit now I have to remake the factory shifter cables to fit or I can't drive my car like removing the 'green insert' . Process destroys factory bushings. I would return it if I didn't absolutely need it now. Bad product, not recommended.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Good but not great

Enormous improvement in well-being!

These bushings really help with factory system play. The ends of the standard cables have a very soft rubber grommet that bends a lot. These jacks eliminate the "backlash" found in factory jacks with only a slight increase in nvh. They are very well made and the fit was fantastic!

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Unthinking

Great mod for Focus RS!

These bushings have definitely improved the shift feel in my RS. I used to have trouble shifting into 2nd and 3rd gears, they helped, were cheap and easy to fit. Several YouTube videos on installation took me about 30 minutes. Next I will work on the derailleur base bushings and possibly the Ford Performance short travel derailleur.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • unreliable

Equipment is slightly different

2016 Focus ST. They have a much better feel than stock, but the reverse bushing was a little too big to fit in the shifter cable ring. I had to sand it around the perimeter a bit to get it to fit, even then it was tight. The other socket was mounted without problems. I used a large adjustable wrench on the flat side and an 8mm allen wrench on the opposite side to tighten them together with the blue Loctite. The factory bushings had to be ripped apart to get the little green ball seat, so be…

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Security
