Works best in cables and connections

I have used them multiple times from wiring 2 houses to making a custom length bundle of wires. I have never had one of these plugs.

Great quality, great price

Great quality, great price. Nothing more to say - they work well and are durable. There were no problems, they are easy to work with.

Pros
  • Beautiful packaging
Cons
  • Everything to add

Perfect connection every time

I was initially concerned about misaligned holes but had no problems with it. If the wires are cut straight and inserted deep enough, they will curl and hold well. So far I've made many cables and they all worked right away.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • No instructions

These are RJ45 connectors that work reliably

I've tried several containers with these connectors. They work very well and I haven't had a single failure. The plastic bin is very sturdy and the old ones have been repurposed to hold other small items I used to collect in my tool bags.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Running

They worked quite well. Connecting a Cat6 cable to a connector can be a bit tricky, but after making a few cables the process didn't work for me for the most part. I think the ones with the insert would probably be better for Cat6 as the plastic element in the middle of the cable can make connecting the ends a bit painful.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Not the easiest way to see the order of the wires.

I have been in the CISCO space for many years and bought these to test my "backbone" home setup. I find it a little harder for them to see the wires as they are inserted into the connector. They also have an odd design on the inside that seems to shift the order of the wires when trying to line things up. Overall, this is a minor issue, but there are far better ports for the money. I'll focus on Klien connections for now.

Pros
  • Positive only
Cons
  • Sad package

Not suitable for standard Ethernet plugs without modification.

Will not fit standard Ethernet connector without modification. While the ends are great for a crimping tool, trying to connect them to a standard Ethernet jack will either prove impossible, or you'll find that you have to make the jack narrower because the plastic is too wide . If you need to change the sides to make the plug narrower, you may also have problems with the pins not completing the circuit. The best guess is that the jack's width is about 1/32 inch larger than the width. Unless the

Worked great. I had to watch a video on how to make a category 6 connector, but everything is fine. I bought this stuff together (sorry I have more experience, there are full tool kits available!): Cable Cloth (100 pack) Category 6 RJ45 Modular Plug for stranded UTP cable https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004D5RFCE /ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_23Cable Matters 1000ft Category 6 (CM) Blue Stranded Ethernet Flush Mount Cable https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0085X4AHI/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_27Tonor TM RJ45…
