I think the ones with the insert would probably be better for Cat6 since the plastic part is in the middle.
They worked quite well. Connecting a Cat6 cable to a connector can be a bit tricky, but after making a few cables the process didn't work for me for the most part. I think the ones with the insert would probably be better for Cat6 as the plastic element in the middle of the cable can make connecting the ends a bit painful.
