Well made, 10ft very comfortable

Sometimes you need a little more cable but don't want to stretch a 50ft or 100ft cable a few feet. In fact, I use them more than any of my longer extensions. They appear to be very well made. I have just finished and remodeled a complete kitchen setup, used one for work lights and the other to turn on the microwave in the living room (never do this, microwaves and vacuum cleaners will explode and kill if plugged into an extension cord). Very convenient.

Pros
  • Trial for one year
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

There is nothing heavy in 16 AWG!

This is a common light weight cable. I can't call anything less than 12 AWG Heavy Duty. I've been in the construction industry for 20 years. You can't even break a 16 AWG wire in a commercial site. The Guardian cuts off the end! Although they are well suited for light work in the household. If you're using a 9 or 10 amp cord to run a saw or whatever, I would consider upgrading to a larger cord. Lights, vacuums, grow lights, low power grow fans, these things will work great forever.

BIG and perfect size. for those who need them

I can't remember why I bought them in the first place, but they ended up being very handy for my standing desk at home. Long story short, when I extended my desk to its full height, my monitor cables were too short and my desk unplugged my monitors. ) at your desk all day! I also use them to add 3 feet to my beard trimmer in my bathroom (I shave my beard in the bathroom to make cleaning easier - and I also use that awesome shower mirror I bought from Revain!)

1 of 2 not "bad "

I loved this deal. Until I opened it and tried to use the product. Two packs of heavy 6ft extensions at that price seemed like a no-brainer. It would be fantastic value. except for one thing: only one of the two cables actually worked. The first one I tried was defective right out of the box. I couldn't connect anything with it. The plug enters halfway and stops. It looks like there is some dried epoxy in the female end of the connector. So yes. Not a good experience and I will not be buying…

good product - durable just what I needed

Received 2 packs of 6ft cords. Required to facilitate plugging/unplugging the power cord for a MacBook Pro that I am connecting to a TV on a tripod in my workout space with an HDMI cable (streaming the Zwift indoor cycling app from the MacBook Pro to the TV) . I didn't want to bend down to the floor to plug and unplug my laptop's power cord every time I exercised. An extension cord plugs into a power strip on the floor and dangles from a TV stand about 3 feet off the floor for easy access…

Cold weather = PASS. Warm weather = all right

At first glance they appear to be a good and reliable power strip. what they basically are. But that's all they are. Housing/Insulation - Straight Plastic. At a temperature below 30 degrees, it is almost impossible to work with them. They were once used for Christmas lights. FORGET IT! In snowy weather, the case gets hard and the cables tend to stay in shape until you warm them up. Only when they are WELL warmed up can you roll them up again. But they work great, stand up to outdoor use (in the

Hassle-free outdoor use!

I don't have pictures of the actual cables but I have a phone video of them being turned on every night! It rained, it was cold at night, warm during the day, all sorts of crap with the weather, and these cords did not deteriorate at all. I even forgot to tape the exposed parts and it was 100% unaffected. I use them outside to power my night projector for a Halloween setup. The rain and changeable weather didn't affect it at all and I'm really shocked lol. I should probably pack it up ASAP, but

I always keep several of these cables

I always stock several 1ft, 3ft, 6ft and 10ft extensions. Large power supplies and bulky power supplies are no longer needed! They are suitable for almost any purpose. I just hung the TV and the power cord didn't have to be long enough to go through the conduit to the outlet. never mind I simply coiled the cord and attached it to the front of the mount behind the TV - extended it 10 feet and you're done. I haven't found an application where they couldn't provide enough power to the instruments…
