It's probably better there.

They seem well built, durable etc but if you have more than one device plugged into 3 pin outlets forget about charging your iPhone. Be prepared for the "This accessory may not be supported" error message. It's not worth the money if you need to use a wall wart anyway.

  • Great for me
Cons
  • Some little things

Block chargers for iPad don't fit

I bought these to charge my iPad in class. However, the spacing between the outlets is too small to plug chargers side-by-side, meaning I can only plug three chargers into six outlets for each strip (plus two cables into USB ports that work). ). What should have allowed me to charge eight iPads on one strip only allows five. I have a feeling that using this extension for other cords will present a similar problem - the spacing between outlets is unusually close.

I hope my two sons don't burn down my basement again, they help!

Bought for two teenage sons who each have at least thirty different electronic devices. The "boys" spend most of the day hiding in the basement of my house, only coming out when their food supplies are depleted or they get rashes from multiple layers of AX body spray. They don't use these surge protectors out of convenience but out of necessity as earlier in the year they caused a fire by overloading outlets. How can these idiots be related to me? Can anyone relate to this?

Quality extension cord and surge protector

I bought this extension cord because I wanted a well made extension cord with an 8ft cord (needed in my case) and six outlets arranged vertically (rather than horizontally), offers a transformer output as well as USB connections (less important for my application, I have them elsewhere) and, very importantly, comes from a seller with a good reputation for customer service. Having said all that, I was not disappointed. In fact I am VERY SATISFIED and finally let me add that when you buy 2 packs…

Terrible High-pitched Sound

Have you ever taken one of those mosquito sound tests that play different high-pitched sounds that certain age groups can't hear? It's like one of those. I see another review that says there's terrible high-frequency noise, and I can hear it clearly too - looks like it has something to do with the USB ports. I'm almost 30 and this sound is one of those sounds that is hard to define but will drive you crazy or give you a headache but my little daughter hears it as bright as day when she…

It is excellent!

I recently bought several of these for a company party; People use their iPads during the meeting and need to keep them functional. The participants really appreciated the practical placement on the conference table. It is good if there are both regular outlets and USB ports. They are strong with a good LONG cord. I also travel with one of these for use in a hotel room (the long cord allows me to use my devices without being pushed against a wall or bedside table). Also handy if you find that…

Not for temporary use

Do not buy if you intend to use them for temporary connections. Unfortunately I bought this 12 foot to use with the church worship band who performs every Sunday. This socket contains very cheap sockets and they no longer hold the plugs securely after about 25 insertions and removals. Plugs now simply fall out with the slightest movement. A total waste of limited church funds. You might be okay with plugging something in and leaving it plugged in forever. I have tried 3 different brands of…

Installation problems.

There are two main problems here. First is the problem of how to attach it to the wall. The mounting holes on the back panel are reversed. That said, when installed vertically (top and bottom) I want the cable to hang down. So you have to install it so that the cable goes up and then bend it to get to the connector. The large hole that fits over the head of the slotted screw to slide over the screw and hold it in place is on the back. When mounted vertically with the cable pointing down, the…
