Almost perfect for surge protection

Pivot ports are great for installing large power plugs. If the bottom half where the USB ports are located could be made smaller by placing the USB ports up or down that would be ideal as the bottom half seems useless but it's still the best performance multiplier, that I find I use. If I could give it a 4.5 I would, but it's definitely closer to a 5 than a 4. I'll let you know if durability or longevity is an issue.

Pros
  • Rugged finish
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Good device! Best Surge Protector

This is great because you can turn 2 outlets into 4 plus 2 USB charging ports. Device chargers are designed for high currents, so phones and tablets charge quickly. Pivoting outlets allow power cords to be routed sideways instead of forward. Did I mention it's surge protection too? I've had this for 2 years now and it still works great. It's a bit too big, measuring 4 inches wide, 5-1/2 inches high, and 2 inches deep, so you'll need to take that into account. It is best to remove the existingโ€ฆ

Wow I didn't know about power distributors and surge protectors

I've been looking for a device that will get me out of the quagmire I had before, allow me to connect my kindle and phone directly and allow me Also, plugging in my Echo and 3 other devices while monitoring the amperage being used. I didn't realize when ordering that this is also a surge protector it was a pleasant surprise without realizing it when I ordered , I find that to attach to the outlet is a very good way the old one I kept falling out of the socket is twisted, good and tight, I would

Great adapter, high boost USB ports are a welcome plus.

Very practical multipin adapter. Love the fact that it threads into the center bolt on the fork so it doesn't come loose when you unplug it. The plugs rotate so I can attach a "wall wart" to them and rotate them so they and the cord don't get in the way. The USB ports are a plus, and they're rated at 3.4 amps, which is what you need to charge some newer iPads. There were no USB cables in the box, so I ordered several. I always leave the cables plugged into the USB ports so I don't have to huntโ€ฆ

Pros and Cons - Surge Protector

I like that the cords don't stick out straight, but it makes it easier to turn the device sideways to fit behind the sofa and protect my smartphones during a thunderstorm (which we'll talk about there , where I live, get a lot). What I didn't notice, however, was that there was no on/off switch to prevent power from being attached to whatever was plugged in. I had to unplug the device from the bedroom because I get so sensitive to light when I fall asleep that wearing it on all the time wouldโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Constant test results
Cons
  • Some minor issues

efficient USB charging, 4 usable outlets, bulky size is a bonus for me

it worked very well. my techie is happy about charging via usb ports for his samsung s5 and galaxy tab. With the bulky dimensions of most AC plugs today, swivel outlets are a great concept. I really didn't want extra sockets to avoid overloading the circuit in my camper van but as we didn't always have something plugged into the plugs I decided to buy this as it's nice to be able to leave 2 USB & 2 mains cables that we use all the time are actually plugged in all the time (Mac Air and Surface),
