I am very happy with the sound quality of this adapter. I had extra speakers I wanted to add to my theater sound system (old wired speakers). I bought another single plug wired speaker adapter which I plugged into this adapter and into my theater TV system and the sound was crystal clear. .

I own a small boutique record label and I'm always splicing cables for one reason or another. I make my own lines 90 percent of the time. Until I found that, I disconnected the male and AV jack and plugged them into the same end of the left and right cables and blah blah blah. In short, it makes life a lot easier. I'm very glad I stumbled across this!

I use these to combine line inputs for my CCTV system (4 mics but only one audio input for DVR). These are high quality adapters that are perfect for my needs. The spacing between the sockets allows me to connect them together as shown in the photos. Good connection (tested with an ohmmeter). It was a super affordable solution for my needs.

These are rather poor quality connectors. First, these are snap-on covers on very brittle metal, not a solid cast like most good connectors. Internal connections are not even soldered! The ground connection only rests on top of the outer shell as seen in the photo so chances of a bad connection are pretty high, especially since the covers don't stay in place. I ended up throwing them in the trash.

Purchased to separate audio signals from DAC. Dropouts are sporadic, so I opened one up to take a look. Well I guess you get what you pay for, but the build quality is definitely below par. The material is very thin, the electrical connection is not complete. Maybe that's why this thing is advertised as lightweight.
