Bought two of these to charge my 2016 MacBook. They are very durable and look exceptionally high quality. I charged my Mac last week and it worked flawlessly. The gold color matches my gold MacBook very closely. Update: After a month of use these cables are working great. Well made and durable. I couldn't be happier.

Well I can't tell if it charges well or not because it will fall out if you miss breathing. It seriously fell out of my phone while sitting on my desk simply due to the stiffness of the cable trying to get back to how it was in the pocket. It's so frustrating that those cheap cables just fall out of the phones. Or preferably a week before the start. This one was useless straight out of the bag.

The cable itself is quite strong but I am a bit disappointed with the quality of the connector which is not that strong. It bends too easily and my first one broke after 2 months. Every time I use this cable I have to be extra careful not to accidentally kink or break it. I have a feeling the Apple cable is a little better, but in general these USB-C cables are a poor design that bends and breaks much more easily than Thunderbolt cables or other USB cables.

I use one of these cables at home to the USB-C port on the back of my 2017 iMac and the other at my office and they are fantastic! They charge my 2018 iPad Pro quickly and easily! I don't think they are Apple certified but I can still attest to their quality and performance! I've been using them for about a month now and will be updating this review at 3 and 6 month intervals to gauge their durability. They are super long and super comfortable! I bought this cable because I needed more length between my wall charger and where I want to charge my phone. At first this cable didn't offer fast charging even when using the standard charger for my Nexus 5X, then it suddenly started charging as fast as the original short cable that came with the Nexus 5X. I was wrong in assuming that USB A <-> USB C cables can charge my pixel as fast as possible. I have bought and returned many cables. Although this cable is 10 feet long, it charges quickly (with an equally good PD-enabled charger, of course). With the Android app "Amp" you can measure the inrush current while charging.
