I use it to connect to the battery and carry it with me so I have to bend it in half to connect it. The photo shows that this thing is made for it. I bought one and replaced one. Both broke after a month of use. Obviously not designed for a U fold. They won't replace a second broken one, so I'm trying a different brand.

Totally non-functional male-to-male connection. It just stinks that now I have to buy a male to female conversion adapter to make it work the way you expect it to. Of course I observed the male to male transition, I'm just assuming it was a male to female transition like most adapters. Very good short cord. When you plug it in [to a MacBook Pro] it feels secure. The cable is flexible and can be bent into a 1 inch U shape, but there is a small "spring" in the cable. In other words, you can bend, but the smaller the diameter, the more it resists. Bending doesn't seem to affect the data transfer rate.

I've been using Android Auto for a long time and wasn't aware that there were differences in the cables. I needed a good short cable that wasn't a random cable when I connected my Android radio, but with the Cable Creation Short USB C cable it worked quickly and 100% of the time. I've tried two of these cables for a USB3.0 external hard drive - they don't work. The hard drive does not turn on and is not recognized. Maybe they are good for phone charging, but they don't work for transferring data and powering external hard drives. Bought to use in my 19 Warlock to connect my S9+ to a factory Andriod car and I liked that it was almost takes up no space and is super flexible. It worked great for about 2 weeks then it just stopped transferring data from the phone to the main unit. It would still charge the phone normally, but without data transfer it became completely useless. UPDATE 8/12/21 The seller must have seen my review and contacted me directly to fix it. They sent me a new cable for free. This one works as intended
