Powered by Ubuntu for computer cable adapter

I bought this adapter because although Ubuntu is not officially supported, it works with DisplayLink drivers. The image quality is not perfect, but more than adequate.

Very good for the price!

Get this if you don't want to go broke trying to get a dual external display with the new MacBook Pro M1 and MacBook Air. Make sure to download the DisplayLink driver from the DisplayLink website. The driver is ready for all devices with a DisplayLink chip like this one.

$worth - NOT recommended for Bluetooth accessories

Works great. EXCEPT when a mouse or keyboard is connected via Bluetooth, the device gets so hot that there is a noticeable intermittent connection when using accessories (mouse/Bluetooth). Recommended but be careful when using USB ports for Bluetooth connections.
