Works with Oculus Rift Headset and Sensor

Tested with Oculus Rift Headset and Sensor to confirm it works. Surprisingly, there are some vendors that sell a passive USB 3.0 cable longer than 10 feet, but the USB 3.0 design only allows for a maximum cable length of about 10 feet (3 m) for the specs. So you have no choice but to choose "active cable" to extend it.

Works great with Occulus Rift Touch

I don't usually write reviews because I'm honestly lazy, but these cord extenders work great with Occulus Rift. I used to buy other 3.0 cable extensions and they didn't work properly. I was referred to this cable via the youtube video "whitedragon101" titled "Oculus CV1 Sensor USB3 Extender Group Test" (I don't think I can post youtube links here but you can google it). This gentleman did extensive research and tested various extension cables with the Occulus Rift - thank goodness he did. The…

Worst design, cables don't fit properly!

I use this cable to run my PS4 controller from my computer to my couch about 14 feet away. I was surprised that with this extension I couldn't even get my controller to measure the connection. I figured this is because the actual connector is recessed into the plastic casing so cables don't sit on top of it with a grip. without actively inserting it into the extension cord. DO NOT BUY IF YOU APPRECIATE IT IT DOESN'T WORK! See attached pictures. I've tried several USB cables and none work. I…

They work with an Oculus Rift headset

Use this 16ft extender to extend the USB3 port from the midtower to a pluggable 7-port aluminum USB 3.0 superspeed hub, by connecting Oculus sensors and an Xbox controller transmitter. also in the hub. At the hub I connect another USB3 extension cable (male B to 10ft female) to connect the USB3 cable for the Rift headset. Everything works perfectly. You could probably run two of those 16 foot active USB3 cables in series for a total of 32 feet: I haven't tried it. This is very handy when you…

Part of my functional 20ft Oculus Link rig

I bought this to use with my Oculus Quest as an Oculus Link accessory with the following setup: - [Pro Version] KIWI -Design VR Cable Control, 6-Pack Retractable Ceiling Pull Systems - Anker USB-C Charger, Powerline USB-C to USB 3.0 Cable (6ft) with 56kΩ pull-up resistor - CableCreation Active USB -Extension cable (16.4ft length), USB 3.0 male to female extension setup I can confirm that it works at least with my PC's USB 3 ports. I've tried different cables to do this very tedious setup and…

Terrible picture from Logitech Brio camera

Dell desktop. Without the seller's cable, the picture was excellent. When used with a 4 year old USB 2.0 extension cable of the same length as this cable (16ft) the picture was also excellent. So this cable didn't even work as well as a 4 year old USB 2.0 extender bought from another manufacturer. When I contacted this company they said to plug the camera into a power source which was a ridiculous response as there is no power source for this quality Logitech webcam. They also stated that their

cheap Quest 2 link cable set

This is an overview of some items that are used as a cheap alternative to the official Quest Link cable. I started using Airlink and Virtual Desktop when I got my Quest 2 to play PC VR games. Both programs had their pros and cons, but I didn't like the noticeable lag I got with either despite having a very good Wi-Fi connection. I've seen many reviews complaining about this setup not working. I'm not sure if it's difficult for them to plug it in, but I had trouble initially and did this to fix…

Successfully extends cable length for my Valve Index

Bought this along with 3 other DisplayPort and USB extenders (and a DisplayPort connector) to try and extend the display for my Valve Index. My tests were NOT exhaustive but all 4 options worked. In addition to reviewing this product, I also describe the other options I tested, including the price. I hope this helps anyone looking to expand their VR system. In all cases there was no noticeable loss of picture or audio fidelity or image loss. The length of the cable doesn't add latency/latency…
