This is the simplest and most fool-proof one-man brake bleeder devised. No springs, no diaphragms, no moving parts. Instructions are included.

Great idea but not working.

The valve flap came out of the hose turning it into a hose and didn't work. I was immediately credited to my Revain account.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Not sure

Cal-Van Tools 247 One Man Brake Bleeder

tool arrived on time. Upon opening the package I found that one of the check valve tips/nipples was broken. There was no way to use it. The tool is now in a landfill.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Interchangeable

Broke on first use

Small black DIAPHRAGM Ended up poking out the outside of the valve and stuck in the vinyl tube (see pictures). This happened when I first used it. I now have an $8 vinyl hose coupler. :/Poor!

Pros
  • 1 year trial period
Cons
  • Replacement available

Great concept, poor execution

Great concept, poor execution. I only used this thing a couple of times before the valve stopped working. Obviously there has to be a way to make this valve more durable, but Kal-Wan clearly has no intention of doing so.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Useless features

Works as advertised

I used it to bleed and flush the brake and clutch lines on my 97 Civic, the one way check valve prevented air from leaking back BUT you need a tight seal where the pipe comes with connected to the exhaust I smeared some grease on the threads of the brake line exhaust valve and tied a hose to the exhaust valve, preventing air from escaping through the exhaust valve threads.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Concise instructions

Too cheap: brake bleed tool

Tested when it arrived - could blow through the end of the valve but not through the hose so the valve worked just had to flip the valve the way the hose originally attached the exit page. There are instructions on the back of the box, although I never found the reason for the little black and red plastic caps, except maybe to tighten the gasket between the 1/4" hose and the outlet valve. It worked. well for 3 of 4 wheels and then started going around both ways I think the best way would be to…

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Some minor things
