Cal Van Tools 843 Oxygen Sensor Review

Perfect match for my 13 year old F150. The bottom O2 sensor was faulty, it literally took me less than 10 minutes to replace it. This tool is very well built.

Life saving. On our navigator I could not remove the oxygen sensor in any way. This nifty looking tool has made a difference and the machine is working great again.

Very versatile item with the one exception when trying to remove the oxygen sensor the socket snapped and broke. So far I've clicked 302 sensor sockets using only the elbow muscle. I thought these sockets would be durable, I don't think so. Before trying to remove the sensor with the socket, I sprayed the sensor with a PB blaster and let it sit overnight.

I bought this to remove the upstream oxygen sensor on a 2002 Pontiac Grand am. The sensor is located on the manifold and must be accessed from the engine compartment. After removing the manifold cover, at first I thought I could save some money and just use a wrench; However, the wrench has nowhere to turn.
