My daughter is 9 years old and has been loving and collecting Calico Critters for about 3 years. All products are overpriced and small parts are very cheaply made. There are very small pieces that she loves and she is old enough to take care of them. But what's really disappointing is that they give you stickers to attach small items and the stickers are usually too big and you have to cut them to fit. But my daughter loves it so it's worth it.

This grocery store was easy to assemble and the accessories are very cute but very small. I suggest keeping them in a small bag or box after playing as they are easy to lose. The stickers are difficult to apply as they adhere very well and do not move easily. The cash register is very cute and there is a lever that, if the child so desires, will drop the products from the belt into the basket. Buying real chintz creatures is paid extra. Very cute toy for children aged 4-6 years.
