Callaway 2018 Superhot Bold Balls Review

I have tried several golf balls and I think these are the best. I usually get natural fade shots off the drive with a few nasty cuts (like landing on completely wrong fairways) but I usually get more accurate shots with these guys. Not only do they look good outside the club, the red color makes them easy to follow, especially on cloudy days. For $29, I definitely recommend checking it out.

Forgive the pun, but they're really good. I used to use Volvics which are also good balls but they have the best price per ball and I hit these Callaways just as well. I actually think I have slightly better control with them and haven't noticed any difference in my distances. I've seen comments about frosted balls not rolling as well on greens, but that's bullshit (IMO) and they're easier to see in the air and on the ground.

I'm a golf snob but I bought them just for the game to have fun and stand out when evaluating shots. My Index 8.5 usually has ProV1 or X depending on the temperature. A big benefit of long irons and hybrids, but I think you'll be very good at slowing the driver with it. There's "easy" distance and you get a comfortable swing at 70-80% speed and it bounces off the face. Great control of the greens and your club feels soft. The surface structure is very unique!

I bought them based on same day shipping. I thought it really means it will arrive the same day. I read that wrong but they showed up a day earlier than expected. I was very grateful for this because I bought them for the fight I was going to be in. They arrived on time. These balls are a stunning matte red. Love it. They're not shiny at all. They don't have the shine or glare that yellows or even some whites have. I've received many, many compliments on them and will definitely buy them again.

I really like these golf balls. Yes, they're a lot easier to find than your traditional white balls, but what shocked me was the way they played.
