Description of Callaway Mavrik Individual Right Steel

Due to unprecedented demand across the industry, causing a shortage of shafts and grip, we may need to substitute for an equivalent premium shaft/grip. With MAVRIK, we’re using Artificial Intelligence for the first time in an iron. Ball speed is further enhanced by our 360 Face Cup that flexes and releases at impact. We’ve created a sophisticated face architecture that’s unique to every loft, so we can create a significant boost in ball speed and increased spin robustness off of every iron. The custom tungsten-infused weights in each iron allow us to locate the position of the CG in each iron with extraordinary precision while still maintaining ball speed in the Flash Face Cup. This is how we can provide optimum launch and ball flight through the set.

This 4 iron made me swap out all my irons for Mavrik irons

The Mavrik 4 iron was the club I was missing in my bag. The racquet is forgiving on a long iron and has really good ball control. At my local community field, with this club on a modest par 4, I hit the hole a couple of times from 215 to 240 yards. This has become my most used club and I often prefer to keep my driver in my pocket to swing the 4 iron for long periods of time.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Safety

More confident to hit this club than my cheap five.

I am a 67-year-old male who usually shoots from the mid-80s to the 90s. I bought 6 Mavrik Max irons with a pitch wedge and regular steel bar and was pleasantly surprised. I just bought this iron 5 and what is the difference. I used it for the first time today and was able to take confident shots with the feeling we all strive for. I recommend Mavrik Max irons.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • There are nuances

Fits the hype

I bought this 4i single because of my old 5 sw set. I figured maybe when I get to the 4i I could upgrade to the full set. I don't always hit the sweet spot, but when I do, the person flies straight and far (210 yards on average). Even when I miss, I get a good distance and don't veer too far offline. The sound is great too. I'll definitely check out the full set, but I prefer the medium grip. Great club!

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

I won't say much. Hit 'em at PGA store, liked 'em and bought 'em online. Pretty forgiving stick even if you're just climbing. I would like to remind people to pay attention to which racquets match what they are buying. There are wedge options. I ordered mine with PW and SW. I quickly realized that I needed AW from 30 to 100. So I just bought a separate one online.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Technology matters, it turns out.

Relatively new to golf I bought a beginner's club a few years ago. Even though I'm 64 years old, I still want to be the best golfer in town and test every phase of my game to see what I can improve on. This brought me to this club and I was blown away by the remarkable improvement this quality of club can bring. Very well balanced, just feels good in the hand. My swing feels more natural with such a balanced racquet and therefore my accuracy has improved. If you are serious about improvements…

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Nothing

These Mavrik Max sticks are great. BUT DO NOT BUY!

I bought this butt wedge to complete my set of Mavrik Max irons and I love them BUT DO NOT BUY THEM! Why do you ask? The answer is simple. They are too expensive. They're not much better than the Callaway Edge set you can buy at Costco, but the difference in price is HUGE! PROS: - Great racquets - Forgiving - Easy to hit - Feels good - Looks good - Sounds good CONS: - Price If you don't have a burning hole in your pocket, choose the Callaway Edge set. They're cheaper because they're made in…
