The bed's soft center section and more durable outer ring make it perfect for snuggling up in and completely relaxing in the warmth. You are with the bed. Wow! Brought this little bed for our 9 year old Shizhu mix. Before use, it should be washed and dried according to the instructions. Bought for my 2 month old Aussie/Catahoula mix who already needed an update to keep him from rolling the bed. He freaked out when he saw it, jumped in and snuggled up as soon as I unwrapped it. I have a large one so it has enough room for a pillow/blanket now, but it can become one with age. It's very bulging in the middle at first, but it needs a little kneading to get the perfect beautiful donut shape. It didn't smell like chemicals, but I washed it immediately (in a pillowcase) just in case.

First of all it is very light and filled with more Fibrofill. It's not orthopedic foam and doesn't offer as much support. So if that's what you're looking for, look elsewhere. We ordered the size 36" and the diameter is not 36". Diameter 30-32 inches but definitely not 36. In the photo I posted the bed is on a 12 inch square tile so you can easily see that it is not 36 inches in diameter. We haven't washed it so I don't know how it will hold up but judging by the thin material I doubt it will…
