This is the third time I order these shorts because I love them so much and I decided to order green because the green in the photo is one of my favorite shades of green. I was shocked to find that the green I got wasn't even close to the green picture. The green you will receive is more like army/OD green, NOTHING like the green in the picture. I love the shorts but this picture is very deceptive, I will be returning them.

Arrived with a huge hole in the right pocket. Instead of sending it back I will sew it. But beware buyers. I've bought several different gym shorts from Revain at the same time and this is my least favorite because of the small back pocket with the annoying velcro that I have to open every time I put my iPhone in. It's also a flat pocket, so the iPhone is more dangerous in it than in my other gym shorts. And then a hole. Never buy something that already had a hole in your pocket!

I only realized how much the price was too high when I opened the package. The waist material and stitching are very nice. It's around the bottom of the pants. The material has worn away, as if a step was skipped in completing the stitching of the risers. I don't see them lasting very long on average worn guys - the washing machine can send them to the bin prematurely. The material is so-so, nothing special. I bought the shorts in a size LARGE and (to me) they are loose/loose. The leg width is about 1.5 inches wider than the width, but it's good for lounging around the house. I also bought MEDIUM shorts. It also fits, but is much more figure-hugging, but not too tight. I prefer MEDIUM but others may prefer LARGE. So check the dimensions before purchasing. I use these shorts instead of pajama bottoms for sleeping (or relaxing at home on a lazy day). They fit well, are soft and comfortable and I really like the zippered side pockets. The only downside is that after the first wash, there are a lot of threads protruding from the bottom of the legs. I bought an XLarge that fits my 39" waist and has enough room. The version I received was with a zip and no pocket zips. The shorts are very light and comfortable to wear, and that's where the positives end. My biggest complaint and reason for the 3 stars if you look closely at the pictures on the legs.
