Bad quality control!

I've been using them for years but this pack was a complete heap of junk! They don't even last five minutes, let alone the claimed three months. At an RV park on the city waterfront that was clear but smelly, I decided to try one of these. I rinsed it out as instructed, but when the water turned black to relieve the pressure it was almost gone. I don't mean low, I mean trickle. I tried the rest and they were all the same. I ended up at Walmart, bought the exact same filter (but paid more) and…

shocked.but satisfied now

first time for everything.but i am shocked! The description clearly states 4 packs but we only received 3. Not what I expected from Revain. Otherwise, these filters fit our camping needs well, but it might be better to buy individual filters. If they fix the problem I will change my rating. UPDATE: 1 to 5 star Camco has gone up. I just received my fourth filter directly from the manufacturer. They were also very pleasant to deal with. Their customer service is just as great as their product…

Do not use for drinking water. The product is not safe!

I have no idea how to promote and sell this drinking water treatment product. We used this product to fill our 300 gallon hot tub and crowd. We carried out the prescribed flushing before use. The amount of carbon particles emitted from this product when filling the hot tub was shocking! This was not just during the first use, but throughout use. Look at other critical reviews of this product and you will find photos of clogged screen discs full of coal dust. I would happily use this for non…

Camco guarantees quality.

I've been using them in my camper for many years with no problems and now that I'm giving my camper to my son I've been trying to figure out how to remove the minerals from the city wash water for my cars. . I am not sure if they will remove all minerals but I am sure they will go a long way in improving mineral stains after the water has dried on my car and truck. Building a separate filter station would be an expensive method and may not work any better than these cartridges. It has rained…

Well water, car wash, faucet connection

I have well water connected to my house's external faucet (no filter); When I wash my car with this raw well water, I always get mineral stains (?) (white spots) after drying; I wanted to reduce these spots so I bought this filter. It plugs directly into my spigot (easy installation). ). The other end of the product connected to my hose with no issues. I also hooked it up to my pressure washer and it works great. As a result, I didn't see any stains after drying the car, so the product seems to

Very dubious value and effectiveness

Well this filter claims to be an effective filter but there are a few things. The stuff that comes out of my faucet still contains an incredible amount of dirt and is actually clogging the flow filters. The Pur filter in particular stopped working after a month. Also, often when I turn it off and on again, a huge amount of brown water comes out and I've never been able to figure out where it came from. Probably a good filter, but if so I can't say when I use it. I change them every 2-3 months…
