This is the perfect replacement. The problem lies in the design. It tends to loosen and deflate on the freeway. I'll keep the bungee around him. I would buy a different propane gas tank cap if given the choice.

Expensive BUT cheaper than buying a complete recoat. Slow delivery but given the current situation it was probably inevitable. Btw, ALWAYS close the lid before driving or it will break and you will have to buy a replacement like I did.

I liked this product but the screws are electroplated and will rust again like the originals. I upgraded the bolts to SS to make this repair permanent. You must remove all of the bolts to remove the propane tanks, so rusty bolts are not ideal. Overall I would recommend.

Perfect. My trailer is a 2012 Keystone/Passport with two 20 lb cylinders. I don't know if the gas cap is OEM or if it was dealer installed (Sonny Van) but it was a direct replacement. I'll poke a few holes in it and add some zip ties so I can leave it unsealed next time.

Perfect fit! This is the second one I had to buy because someone (husband) didn't properly secure the lid before the trip. I love the sound of a plastic cover slamming against the back of a car, then I look in the passenger mirror and see the black cover fly off the side of the freeway as you drive at 70 mph. I will probably have to buy more. ❤️ I liked the product.

The original sidewalk was demolished on I-81 between Watertown and Syracuse. Let me know when you find it. I don't expect it to come back which is why I bought it. I'm satisfied - it looks exactly as I remembered with the original and fits as expected. This time I drilled a few extra holes near the hinge and on the body of the main cover and secured them together with black zip ties. This one doesn't break!

I gave it four stars because it is a genuine replacement which is what I wanted and expected. I can't give five stars because the original design is very bad. It's extremely difficult to put the lid on perfectly, and anything less than perfect will cause it to vibrate or deflate. On reading other reviews I found that others had the same problem and I added loosely fitted zip ties which would prevent the cap from being lost if it came loose.

After our last trip in a caravan we lost this part due to a propane gas cap.
