Almost as described. The seat isn't enough for a tall man (doesn't go over the bucket) but an average height person won't have any problems.

We're hiking in a national park. You wake up with the need to "go”. In the dark, the toilet is far away and it's cold outside. This bucket is the only way to "leave". It's very stable so you won't fall off.

This was an amazing addition to our recent hike which had a terrible toilet we couldn't get in and almost passed out. I might even buy more so each of my family members can have their own. It's definitely worth it!

It's great. What a relief. The only thing that makes the bucket awkward is that when I sit on it, I can't put sausages and beans in the bucket at the same time. I tried to fill both. Don't do it, it hurts. So at the end of the day I use a tall glass for juice and beans so I can urinate at the same time. Don't do this at home. .

This bucket toilet is not suitable for men over puberty. There's no way man #1's body parts fit in a bucket. So if you're a male and using this restroom, you'll need a glass or jug on the outside of the bucket to catch #1 while you're doing #2. I ONLY gave two stars because it gets most women stands. This one returns. For men, I have now found other inexpensive camping toilets with bin liners that fit the male anatomy.
