It fell apart after two uses. I couldn't believe it. At first it seemed like a lot, but after using it twice it becomes clear that this product is literally meant to be used and recycled. Expect a lot of life from this product.

I was very happy for the price. I like that it folds up and can be closed with a carrying handle. However, be careful how you lay it out so you remember how to fold it back when tucked away. It's a little strange, but not difficult! We took it to the beach and used it to place all our stuff. It gets pretty gritty, but we haven't bothered to clean it much as we'll always use it for that. Maybe you could use a picnic too. Recommend!

Great price on these rugs. I live in Florida and we go to the beach often. Really great for beach camping to get extra comfort while having areas without much sand. Shrugs off easily, won't collect or stack like a blanket. I put one outside the tent at a picnic/eating area, another at a campfire or rest area, and take one to the beach. Almost the entire campsite is covered with it. LAUGH OUT LOUD. At $11 for a rug everyone is happy and my bed isn't that gritty.

I purchased the same rug from Home Depot over 10 years ago. I've used it on grass in parks and sand on the beach. Lived in Hawaii for 4 years so could easily use it 2 times a week every week. We bought this product based on the high customer reviews and we were not disappointed. This is a very lightweight, durable mat that is very easy to clean and fold back into its original shape for carrying. We've only used it on the beach so can't comment on how it holds up on other surfaces. Because this rug is very light, light winds will VERY easily pick up the corners. We used to have picnics on blankets or beach towels. It's much better. It is really light and compact, reaching a large size (with cheerful colors) when folded. Repels water, sand and dirt. If you made a big mess (like a jar of jam), just hose it off when you get home. It does not absorb water and therefore dries almost immediately.
