Works even on thick sliding panels with slight modifications

I have an Itasca Navion and the sliding panel is too thick for the grommet. What I had to do was reduce the thickness of the board to accommodate the bushing. I used my Dremel and an end cutter attachment with a Dremel router base. It worked great. The step drill also made it easier to make the 9/16" hole.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Upgradable

Screen Door Opener/Handle

Our cat kept climbing out even when we opened the door and forgot to close the panel. We considered replacing the door panel with one of those transparent ones with a little handle, but the dimensions didn't fit, so we thought it might be worth a try. Works perfectly. Now the cat can't get out until it figures out how to operate the lock when we're outside.

  • Few competitors

Perfect solution for motorhome doors that only open from the outside

what you need. Not sure why the RV doors were designed this way but this product is perfect. You will need to drill a hole in the small sliding door, so follow the instructions and don't drill too far into the hold. Otherwise, it's an easy install.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Almost everything is ok

RV Screen Door Opener

The perfect complement to our Newmar RV Screen Door. It's practical that you don't have to open the slider to open the fly screen door from the inside and let in insects. The product is durable, well made and comfortable for grandchildren and grandparents! Relatively easy to install. Used a 1/2" drill bit and wobbled a bit because the hole didn't require a 9/16" drill bit to fit the rubber bushing. Clean off any excess plastic shavings around the hole before inserting the bushing for a tight…

An important point when installing.

Anyone who owns a mobile home or trailer knows the problem. This solves the problem and is an inexpensive solution. This saves time and hassle with this cheap insect screen. Aside from the bush being a little tricky to slide through the hole, installation was a breeze. If you have a crease at the top of your doorknob, there is one thing I would do differently next time. I don't think it was the directions, but if you click on the outside of this curve, the error bar opens up a bit. If you press

An elegant solution to an annoying problem. Some tips.

Pros: Definitely a good idea and an elegant solution to a problem you don't know you have until you've climbed in and out of your RV a million times through your camper screen door. Cons: * 9/16 inch drill? Who on earth could have something like this lying around? Would it kill her to make it 5/8" (or 3/4")? *I had to make a 9/16" hole with a 1/2" drill bit and a round "fine" sanding bit so it's probably just me, but it took a hell of a long time to squeeze this bushing in there . *They tell…
