🔧 Optimized Camco 50052 Wheel Bearing Protector (Size: 1.781") Review

I lost one after towing a car trailer down a jeep trail and getting hit by a tree or something. They remain in place even after being removed and reinstalled multiple times. No need for expensive branded stainless steel grades that fall off.

I put mine in the freezer for a few hours before trying to install it. I hammered them in with a hammer and a block of wood to protect the bearing cap. Make sure they are fully seated, lubricate them until oil comes out of the drain hole and then rode 200 miles with no problems. Includes bumpy gravel road and 75 mph interstate. I bought these new ones for less than I could put new seals in my old ones.

I bought two sets. All four fell off their hubs on the way to the lake. They were packed to the max, just not quite to specification.

If you measure hubs correctly, they will fit perfectly. Heavy wall construction with oiler. And can you believe the price? Wow, great purchase and super fast shipping. Would definitely recommend.

I thought it was too cheap so I ordered a set. Install my bushings the way they should and run like a champ. I have others and they are just as good for a lot less money so I ordered a different set for a different pendant.
