We use this as a remote control holder that mounts high on the wall to keep devices out of little hands. The included adhesive strips didn't last more than a day, but to be honest we've got three remotes in there. We applied Gorilla double sided tape and it held up for a couple of months. Serves its purpose well.

Simplicity and reliability. I painted it metallic black to match the bookshelf I attached it to (couldn't seem to find a simple all black remote control holder) and it's holding up pretty well. Currently includes two remotes, a regular size and a tiny Apple TV remote. The bracket is not too deep so that the Apple Remote does not disappear into it.

We bought two of these (different sizes) for use in the motor home. This is the smaller of the two and so far (6 months) everything is great. These holders are great for storing remote controls and even other small items that you want to find easily. Easy to apply, just peel and stick. However, I'm not sure how easy it will be to remove them. Robust and almost perfectly matching the oak wood of our bedroom wardrobes.

Attached to my boat on a smooth plastic surface. Wipe the surface with alcohol before installation. The bracket fell off after about a month. The adhesive strips just weren't good enough to hold the remote control. I removed the original double sided tape and used a 3M double lock to reattach it. TV remote control bracket? I have no idea. At my house, this is the bracket that controls my electric mattress topper. There's no room for a table in a cramped bedroom, so I mounted it on the wall with a small cut-out at the bottom so the remote was close by. If for any reason we want to remove the controls, we simply unscrew the little thing from the wall and take off the controls. Ok so I've ordered several of these over the years. The device is well designed and the sticker on the back has its limitations. In an RV, they eventually fall off from the weight of the remote and bumpy roads combined with temperature changes. I wish there was some felt inside to hold the rattles (I always add some to mine) and to secure them you'll need to consider drilling some holes and adding some screws. The Camco Oak Accents remote holder looks good and it would be great to put up with the fact that the adhesion can't stand up to RV temperatures. Adhesion issues are a common problem in RVs due to heat build-up when not in use or in storage. The adhesive surface (usually thin edges with double-sided foam tape) simply cannot withstand these conditions. Mine fell off the wall two days after installing it. There are no mounting holes so it's a waste of time and money. This item would probably work
