Apparently same quality as factory trailer cord

Used as an extension from our house, buried 6 inches deep for a 20 foot length, then coiled excess cord under trailer. For domestic use only. Don't take it with you when traveling as the trailer cord goes all the way to the utility poles at campgrounds. I'll probably have it buried for the winter. Now don't rejoice that it's approved as an underground conductor and encodes depth and the like. My yard, my rules, my local knowledge. Some of you would bury a coded ladder and line up the correct…

When you need it, you want it.

Traveling across the US, we came across several RV campgrounds with no electricity (30 amps or more) within 25 feet of our standard RV cord and a level parking lot or nearly as large. This extension helped! With various adapters that I bought separately, we can use these to connect to 15 amps (using a 30 to 15 amp adapter, with limited mains usage (no air conditioning or heat pump), full capability for our 25ft Class C with 30 amp maintenance (no adapters) or use a 50 amp adapter with a 50 to…

Short circuit extension cord.

Luckily I had a good GFI switch in the outlet it was plugged into and it worked before the house or apartment was damaged. After completely disconnecting the core I connected a multimeter to the terminals and I have 14-16 ohms between the two blades and between the blade and the ground pin. Essentially a pure short film. Rewinding the cable shows the infinite resistance it should have, so that tells me there's something loose in either the cable or the connector heads. Not safe to use…
