14717 11663 is 3/8 " in Camco packaging

Firstly, this item is made in China. It seems to fit quite well, but I'd rather buy from the US. Revain ships versions 1/2" and 1/4". You sent the following: 14717 11703 is the 1/2" version which comes with a 3/8" to 1/2" sleeve and a separate 3/8" Valve supplied 14717 11663 is the 3/8" version and is just a separate 3/8" valve (why didn't they include 1/4" in the order?) (Revain should check the article to make sure they don't supply 3/8" instead of 1/4"") Anyway I didn't order a 3/8" release…

So far I really like the convenience of installing this valve. Yes, it drains slower than a 1/2 inch drain hole. It's a 3/8 inch hole after all, you can't get as much water through a smaller hole. A little advance planning and it's no problem for me. The second aspect is that many people face leakage problems when using this product. As we camp every few weeks in the summer I have made it a habit to drain the system between trips. I do this by removing the water heater (WH) drain and opening both main drain valves (bottom) along with the faucet valves to allow air into the system to allow water to drain.
