Firstly, this item is made in China. It seems to fit quite well, but I'd rather buy from the US. Revain ships versions 1/2" and 1/4". You sent the following: 14717 11703 is the 1/2" version which comes with a 3/8" to 1/2" sleeve and a separate 3/8" Valve supplied 14717 11663 is the 3/8" version and is just a separate 3/8" valve (why didn't they include 1/4" in the order?) (Revain should check the article to make sure they don't supply 3/8" instead of 1/4"") Anyway I didn't order a 3/8" release valve but it fit my old 3/8" to 1/2" perfectly " Sleeve (Hallelujah!) Notes: 1. B As a note, a 9/16" wrench is what you need to install a separate 3/8" valve. Nut 2. Screw in the silver valve knob to open the valve and unscrew to open the valve.3. When removing the old nut, if the wrench snaps the old nut off, snap off the silver handle and use a 9/16" deep socket to easily remove the old 3/8" drain valve.
